Heart rate setting to auto

Hi everyone,

My fitbit ionic stopped working for almost 8 weeks and I am trying to enable heart rate  to auto in Fitbit app as suggested in forum, unfortunately I cant see such option in my fitbit app... can you suggest how and where to find and enable heart rate in app

You turn on HR monitor in the watch Settings.  Swipe left to Settings and scroll down to Heart Rate and turn to On.

I'm not sure about the Ionic, but on the Versa, the setting for auto has been removed @Sri166. I would follow @SunsetRunner advice.

 @SunsetRunner , Thank you for suggestion. I do see this option as only ON or OFF and i made it ON always.. still no luck..

previously bit confused on the term "Auto" as i was looking for this option in addition to "ON" and "OFF" in the Ionic and i cont find it.
