Heart rate stops when using Exercise/Workout On Ionic

When I do a combo workout without out using the Exercise mode on my Ionic my heart rate works without fail. When I do the exact same workout using the Exercise/ Workout mode (timer) on Ionic then my heart rate stops during the workout sometimes I can take it off or loosen or tighten then it comes on for a while and then stops again.

Thanks for letting me know what you're experiencing with your Ionic. I would like you to follow these tips to improve the accuracy of your heart-rate reading on your watch. Also, you may want to check the factors that can affect it too. .
