Hi 

recently purchased the New Ionic but can’t seem to find a walking/hiking feature in the yellow exercise app? Can anyone help?

On the Fitbit app on your phone, touch the Ionic icon, then scroll down to "Exercise shortcuts" you are allowed 7 shortcuts, swipe left on the ones that you don't need, then touch the + icon to add your Hike shortcut. Hope this helps.

I added a request to Fitbit to add real hiking functionality to their hiking app rather than giving us a re-branded jogging app.  Please give it a thumbs up vote here:
