How do I disable HR notifications on my Ionic?

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

I’m happy to get a buzz when I get a text or a phone call. I’m not happy to get a buzz with messages about “getting in the zone” from Fitbit. If I want to get in the zone, I will…

How can I disable these alerts?

Hello @SWETTS. It's great to see you around.

I'm sorry for the experience and thank you for the information. To turn off Heart Rate notifications, please follow the steps below:

1. From the Today tab in the Fitbit app on your phone or tablet, tap your profile picture.
2. In the Activity & Wellness section, tap Heart Settings > High & low heart rate.
3. Turn off Green "toggle" High heart rate notification or Low heart rate notification.

For more information, I recommend visiting the following link: How do I track heart rate with my Fitbit device?

Hope this helps.

Hi

Thanks for the reply.

I’m not sure this addresses the issue. The last 3 alerts I’ve received are:
- Put your records on!
- Regular exercise…lowers anxiety
- Get in the zone!

I seem to be getting spammed by Fitbit via my watch and just need to know how I can stop/ block these?

Thanks Alex

@SWETTS Thank you for your reply.

I appreciate the detailed information. I think they might be health and wellness reminders and I'd recommend reviewing the following help article to learn more about how to turn them off: What are the reminders I see on my Fitbit device?

If you need further assistance, note that you can also consult our help site or contact our Support Team through chat or over the phone, but phone wait times have been longer than normal, so I recommend initiating a chat.

Hope this helps.
