The battery ran down in my New Ionic. I have it charging but can't figure out how to turn it on. I can't find the instructions any where in the online manual. Also it said it would take up to 78 minutes to update. Getting frustrated and considering taking this back.

Ok so still waiting on an answer. Guess I'll return it.

Mine starts up automatically when charging it.

I had the same problem. I needed to clean the oval shape indent near battery/dat terminals. Be very careful not to damage them. Once the charger cable was able to be seated properly all was good and ionic started automatically. Hope that helped.

Press all 3 buttons at once to turn it back on if you have powered it down and you don't have your charger with you.

Thanks! That helped me a bunch. I thought at first that it was only pressing the first button on the left side but didn't know it required all 3 buttons to be pressed at the same time if its not charging.

For those who, like me, are seeing this way after that last reply. You need to hold all 3 buttons for atleast 10 seconds and it will reboot. The time at which you hold it is left out on these replies.

Thanks. By holding down all three buttons, I was able to turn it on. Grateful. I was beginning to think that I would have to consider it broken. 😀
