How do I update my firmware on my fitbit ionic and where do I go?

Hi @rbrodie  moved your post to the Ionic area, where more can respond. Read this article - click - on how to update. Ionic is about half way down the page.

@rbrodie I hope your update goes better than loads of Ionic owners did.

I haven't updated and my Ionic works just fine.

Check the warranty too, paying particular attention to the software section and liabilities.

You should have all the info before installing any potentially damaging software.  It's a shame the update thread has been removed really, because it had a lot of info about update problems.

I watched a YouTube video on it and all went well.
