IONIC not syncing

After the most recent update to the FITBIT APP, my IONIC has stopped syncing. I've uninstalled and reinstalled the app on my phone. I've deleted and reset the ionic on the Fitbit app. I've restarted my phone and phone is updated. I've tried everything I can think of and it's still not working. 

For a watch that's so expensive things like this shouldn't be happening. 

Anyone can help?

I have an Android, Google pixel 2.

This is happening to me too. Same phone. Says wifi not connected. I'm not sure if that matters. I've turned it off and on. Removed from my Bluetooth and reinstalled. The phone finds it as on but won't sync

I'm having same exact issue. So frustrating! I have the same phone and watch. Hopefully support will figure this out. At first mine wouldn't take the new update so I had to do a complete factory reset. Now this 😠
