Iconic no longer tracking walks

My previous Iconic finally became nonfunctional, so I purchased another one. After setup, I noticed that the option to select Walking or Hiking as an exercise is no longer an option. It only shows Treadmill, which you cannot use GPS for. Has anyone else experienced this? Is there any way to get this option back?
