Don't know why but recently got an iconic which don't do much as being in UK it's bit limited, it don't like my phone it's one that's not on the list so have to use my iPad.
Question I got is how do I add custom workouts? Can you do this?
For example I used for the first time this morning did a spinning class and apparently I burnt 60kcal!!! Yea I don't think so some how so I put it on Interval training as no spinning on my list so what did I do wrong? 60kcals on a spinning class really?
I find the iconic very basic.
Like I said don't work with my phone and can't see anything Wow on it or am I just missing something???

Go to the fitbit app, account, select Ionic, then scroll down to select exercise shortcuts. Checknthatbthe ones you ignored are still ignored - if not ignor them again. Then tap the plus sign in the top right. There you can select exercises to fill your vacant spots. Let us know how you go.

Hi @SunsetRunner,
I had the same problem at first. The solution is easy to miss. If you go into the app, under Exercise Shortcuts, you can see which types of workouts are available currently.
You can only have 7 loaded at a time. Just delete one you don't use, then you can add Spinning, and you can use that mode under Exercise on the watch. Hope this helps.

As @WavyDavey mentions, you need to first delete an exercise before adding a different one, as Fitbit has already prepopulated the available slots.
For the spinning activity, once enabled, you’ll be able to see elapsed time, max and average heart rate and calories burned.

Thankyou for the reply 🙂
I'm using an apple iPad and yes when I open the fotbit app I see 7 exercises like you said but I've tried swiping and there still there I don't know how to delete them? There is no delete option just an ignore option much you open up that particular exercise? Also I'm assuming do I only need the GPS on if I'm doing exercise outside? Sorry all new to me this x

In the Fitbit app, you need to go to the Account tab and then select the Exercise shortcuts to edit them. Delete one then select add another.

@SunsetRunner On the app on the account tab for your Ionic you should see the following
Pick exercise shortcuts
Then the edit button at top right
pick the exercise shortcuts, then the edit icon at the top right. Once you delete one, the + exercise shortcut at the bottom will light up.
Excuse brevity and typos, as doing all this on my iPhone.

Finally I found it didn’t know I had to click on the iconic first 😊👍 thank you so very much for your help hopefully I will burn more than 60 kcal now ha ha ha😂
also do you just leave the GPS on for all exercises? Obviously spinning class indoors so do I just leave it as set up in default.?

@SunsetRunner, if you select "spinning" as an exercise GPS will not be turned on. It is not available for that exercise, so you don't need to worry.
For the exercises that can use GPS (walk, hike, outdoor bike, golf) you can choose to turn GPS on or off by clicking the little gear icon in the top left of the exercise screen. You can also change whether the screen is always on or not (always on uses more battery)
