Iconic shutting down - Run with GPS

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

2nd time since the shut in. Haven't ran outside in years, knees don't like it no more...

Anyway, 2nd time since the stay at home order that my iconic just goes black and will not turn on. I got home and there was still almost 40% battery this 2nd time. (forget the battery life last time)
Anyone know anything about that or any tips??

I have had this for just over a year. It has never crash like this on any other workouts, including walks with GPS.

Hi @pohlcat01, it's nice to see you again participating here in the Community Forums. Sorry for the delay in responding.

Thanks for bringing this to our attention and for the details that were shared. To better assist you with this, can you please clarify if your Ionic turns unresponsive just when you're performing an activity and then it becomes responsive, or nothing at all after it turned off? When this issue occur, the green lights of the heart rate sensors still flash? Is this occurring just with Run exercise or with other exercises too? In the meantime I receive your answer, please restart your Ionic to refresh its performance.

Looking forward to your reply. Let me know if you have any additional questions.

My GPS stopped working with my runs- then the activities don’t push to my Strava account.
gps works fine with rides. Did I do something to adjust the settings by accident?

I did not try to remove my watch while I was running either time so I am not sure if the green lights were blinking. I'll look if it happens again.

The first time it happened, I was able to hold the left and bottom right button and have it power back up.

The 2nd time it booted up and the shut down again. I stopped messing with it until I got home.
I think I just held the single button and bottom button for a long time.

I did notice it still had plenty of battery life when it finally booted back up.

Hi, sadly that happened to me a few times. Next, the battery started draining quicker every time I connected the GPS. Then, once I put it to charge and had to reset it to get it back on since it wouldn’t even charge. Today you can see I posted earlier, it just never got back on. I hope yours is not going the same way. To me it only happened when walking or running with the GPS on. It never happened on a normal day. I’ve seen lots of comments of similar issues.. fingers crossed Fitbit gets back to us. My Fitbit is less than 1 year old..
