Hi,

I have just got a replacement Ionic, and it seems to be syncing etc. but on Sleep, which I have two evenings now

I get this data night 1: https://screencast.com/t/Q9R56UrtNX

but on night 2: https://screencast.com/t/0uXhf8PKSO3U

Why is it different?

in just a few words: the strap might have been too loose, so the heart rate monitor hadn't a steady reading during your sleep.

the whole help article covers this in more detail: https://help.fitbit.com/articles/en_US/Help_article/2163#ClassicSleep

Hi

That was the solution I made sure it is on more tightly.

Just got to work out what all the different sleep things are and how to prolong 'Deep sleep' as I presume it is better to get lots more deep sleep than light sleep?

Saying that I can't believe there is so little deep sleep as you could let of a nuclear bomb next to me and I wouldn't wake!

Hi,

unfortunately this is not the solution.

My wife is using the Charge 2, very loose, and she has every night the sleep stages. EVERY NIGHT!

I wear the Ionic and didn't have the sleep stages.

Nothing helped: Factory reset, restarts, reconnection, Bluetooth reconnection, dancing for rain (sorry!)

I have had sleep stages before, but on one update, unfortunately I can't remember which one, I don't have sleep stages anymore!

So, I assume bad delvelopment and programming, and quality check!

I learned from support that they did long research! But for what? Counting rain drops?

I'm not sure if they know anything about person who have problems with their heart.

But the HRV calculation should also work, and moving sensor should also show data.

So, what is the problem?

I can accept one or two nights, that's no problem for me, but every night no sleep stages?

Not acceptable!

And what happend if you ask support? Standard answers without solution!

BTW: Where can I see that low signal or so on? That's always standard answer without evidence!

Hopefully they are really working on better firmware and app!

Regards,

Mark

Hi,

I received information from Fitbit-Support that I have really a technical problem. They checked internally my data.

So, hopefully they can fix all problems with the next firmware and app.

Then I'm happy again with Fitbit.

It's always good to ask, where are the missing data or where is the low signal.

All the best!

Mark
