Hi,

I had a Fitbit, charge I think back around 2016, which I then lost and just got me a new FitBit Icon. After I set it up, I see that it's got a value for calories burned for all those years that I didnt even have or use a FitBit, the steps seem to be 0 and so does the miles and the floors.

I want to 0 out the calories burned for that time as well, is that possible to do??

Thanks

Accepted Solutions

Those are your BMR (basal metabolic rate) calories which you are always burning just by being alive.  See How does Fitbit estimate how many calories I've burned?

These calories are always credited, even when not wearing the tracker; and they are also automatically extended into the past.  I don't think there is a way to get rid of them.

Before posting, re-read to see if it would make sense to someone else not looking at your Fitbit or phone.
