Incorrect time on Ionic

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

I woke up to my Fitbit Ionic alarm this morning, set for 7:30 am.  I turned off the alarm, got up and looked at the clock on my nightstand and it said 8:20 am.  The watch is charged and it last synced around midnight.  I'm not sure what to do.  If I can't rely on the alarm, which I use religiously, then the watch is of no use to me. I did a reset but the time remains wrong.

Hi @MDNC, it's nice to see you again participating here in the Community Forums!

Thanks for bringing this to our attention and for trying some troubleshooting steps before posting over here. Let me share with you that our Fitbit devices use your mobile device information to display the time with the syncing process, therefore, by simply syncing your Ionic it should display the time that’s configured on your phone.

However, this may also also be fixed by updating the time zone in your Personal Settings. For step-by-step instructions, please check our help article: How do I change the time on my Fitbit device? and let me know how it goes.

Let me know if further assistance is needed, I’ll be here.

I tried that to no avail.  My Fitbit was losing about 10 minutes an hour - certainly not related to anay time zone since I have not left it a year.  Sadly,  my Fitbit is DOA and will not charge now.  I guess I'll throw it in my drawer with all my other dead Fitbits.  Again, so disappointed with Fitbit.
