Ioncic Adidas Running options

Loyal costumer for several years.

Charge 2 - great watch that did everything I needed at the time, I really enjoyed using it.

Adidas MiCoach - Loved using this running app. Everything about the setup and the options were awesome. Closes up shop on me.

I hear about the Ionic Adidas version. I read about it, and it seems to have most if not all the Adidas MiCoach running options, plus gps and music. WOW, I can run with a program, music, gps, and no phone.

I get one and start using it. BOOM, I realize it only has a few of the Adidas MiCoach workouts, but not the running portion. It is a fitness running phone, partnered with Adidas, and it has no running plans on it. With my ear phones, I can hear music, but no coaching of any type.

You are telling me, I got this watch and I still need to run with my phone and use another running app. Then what is the point of hit run on the watch if I am using my phone? Oh, but I can change the clock face and put a bitmoji on it. What does that have to do with running with Adidas and Fitbit?

What is the plan to make this worth it? What is the plan to make purchasing a Ionic Adidas version worth it?

It's great to see you around @Dragoo. Thank you for taking the time to post your comments.

Your feedback is appreciated, we're always working to implement features that can help you reaching your exercise goals. The Ionic Adidas includes a unique adidas coaching experience, a signature band and a exclusive clock face. The coach option shows you on screen the exercise that you can perform and at the end it shows you the summary of it.

Instead, if you're using Mobile run it will give you run cues and not just a vibration like your Ionic gives you.

I was checking the Feature Suggestion board and I found this one Audible Run Cues. It's currently reviewed by moderator the status will change based in Fitbit's plans.

Your understanding is appreciated. I'll be around if you need further assistance.

When you say Mobile run, what are you talking about? My phone or an App on the watch? I am trying to run with a running program, without using my phone.

Thanks for getting back @Dragoo. MobileRun refers to the exercise option that you have in your Fitbit app. This will allow you to track exercises using GPS and also it will give you voice cues. You can learn more about it by checking this article: How do I use the Fitbit app to capture GPS data?

Since, you don't want to use your phone, the best option in your case will be to use the exercises that you have in your Ionic with the cues that it offers you.

I'll be around if you have any additional questions. 😀

In short your Ionic Adidas edition (I have the same model) doesn't offer what you are requesting.

Frankly speaking I'm also disappointed that the running app does't offer a more versatile training plan.

I found this suggestion, you might want to vote and comment it as I did.
