Ionic Android Taking / making Phone calls and texts

I was under the impression my not so "smart watch" was able to received and make phone calls as well as receive text messages? I have been unable to do this, can anyone tell me how since there is no contact for anyone at Fitbit.

None of the Fitbit smart watches can do this. There is no microphone or speaker on any of them except the Versa 2, which does have a mic.

 

What you can do is receive notifications of a call and who it is. You can receive a text and reply with a canned response. (In the Versa 2 you can dictate a response.)
