So the brightness on my Ionic is always at the most dim/least bright when the Brightness is set to Auto. I have restarted and reset my Ionic. I have tried different watch faces too. The Auto Brightness always goes to the most dim setting.
As stated before I have restarted my Ionic. I have reset my Ionic. I have changed watch faces (to a Fitbit made watch-face). I don't have any apps installed. Manually setting the brightness will change the brightness but I would like to use the Auto Brightness setting.
Any ideas?
Thank you!

Welcome back @FitzTML. Thanks for the details mentioned and the troubleshooting tried.
I would like you to confirm that you've followed these steps to restart your watch. Also, if you have it set to auto then it will change depending on the light of the room. Can you let me know if the setting itself is changing to dim even when you haven't done it or is just the brightness itself in your Ionic changing?
Keep me posted.

I have properly restarted my Fitbit. The Auto brightness will always display at the most dim setting, making my watch difficult (or impossible) to read in bright light. There is nothing that I can see obscuring the front/face of the watch that would block any sensors.
The only way that the watch will change brightness is manually setting the brightness to Normal or Max.
