Ionic Battery Issue

Over the past few weeks I was unable to update my ionic as it required a factory reset, deleting the app, starting over etc. I finally got around to resetting my device and updating it to the most current firmware.

After the factory reset, I set the light to dim and turned sync all day off. For some reason now, despite being updated firmware - my battery life has completed depleted.

Before the factory reset and update my ionic would last 3-4 days without needing a charge. This morning it dropped 30% in 2 hours and I just went to look at my watch now and realized it is completely dead. It went from 70-0 without me even noticing in what was probably 2 hours.

What can I do to revert back to the battery life I was getting because this firmware update changed nothing about my watch except giving it worse battery life

Well goodluck. Fitbit support got back to me and said that somehow the new update must have fried my device. Out of warranty so they offered 25%. Don’t think I’ll go with this company again.

I'm having the same issue.  All of a sudden, my Ionic won't hold a charge.  Not even a full day!  Very frustrating.  The actual time is 8:24pm EST but my Ionic says it's10:58am EST!

No idea what’s going on with it. I just realized my heart rate green light isn’t on either so my HR isn’t reading as well. Really don’t want to do another factory reset

They never said anything about an update. They just told me "Too bad. Here's a 25% coupon (with limitations and exclusions)."

I believe the device is defective.
