Ionic Battery Issues

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.
Hi. This past day my battery has been playing up. This morning the charge was over 70%, and after 10 minutes of walking the dog, the battery charge was under 10% then turned off. I put it on charge again to over 20% and took it off for a few minutes... Same thing: The battery died again. This is not an old device as I only bought it two months ago so really annoyed that I can't get it working. Any suggestions please?

Hi, @DannielleYgosse, for charging issues it is a good idea first to clean the contacts.  Instructions here, then give your Ionic a restart.

After that charge your Ionic until it shows fully charged (using a UL / CE certified mobile phone charger should take no longer than 2 hours -- charging via a computer or laptop USB may take considerably longer, and don't forget that in most cases a computer will not deliver charge unless it is awake).

Once it is fully charged, monitor how long the battery lasts, preferably over several charge cycles.  If it continues to die in such a short time, either post here again, or get in touch with Fitbit Customer Support on contact.fitbit.com.  Be sure to tell them the troubleshooting steps you have already tried.
