After years of being a faithful Garmin user, I took a leap of faith and purchased the Ionic in February it was a little more then I wanted to spend but it was sleeker, less bulky and I could get different looks by simply changing bands. It offered essentially everything I was looking for in terms of tracking and monitoring.
I was thrilled when I got my watch. So excited that when I was asked about it at my morning spin class, I raved enough that 4 participants went out and purchased one.
I loved how versatile it was, I could dress it up or down depending on my attire for the day. I was able to add exercises in and remove the ones I didn't use. The battery life was awesome lasting up to seven or more days even when I was running and using the GPS feature a couple times a week.
Well, the last three weeks I have been really regretting my decision to make the switch. My battery life has gone from awesome to pathetic. I didn't change a thing. It's taking longer for the device to charge completely and taking less then 3 days to drain the battery.
I have checked out ways to save battery, but why should the battery be any different now then it was a few months ago? I would understand if I had owned it for a year or two, but I haven't even had it six months.
Why would I want to turn off features that were the very reason that I purchased the watch for? Am I the only person that finds that a little dumb?
I wanted to be able to email customer support, but that isn't even an option, which is even more irritating to me. Maybe I am the only person on the planet who doesn't have a Twitter account to send a direct message, I don't know but I am beyond frustrated at this point.

A warm welcome to the Community @JennJen1! I truly appreciate the time that you took to share your experience with your Ionic and the troubleshoot that you've tried. I'll do all I can to change the impression you have with it to the one that you first had when you bought it.
Sorry to hear that your Ionic's battery isn't lasting as expected, I totally understand your comments because it should last up to 5 days. I would like you to restart your watch and then make sure you're fully charging it by changing the USB port.
Additionally, If you ever need to contact our Customer Service team check this page to see the different channels we have. Get Support.
I'll be looking forward to your new comments!

Thank You, I appreciate your input.
I turned my watch off/on last night, then placed on the charger until it was 100%.
I will see how it goes the next few days.
