My Ionic is only just over 2 years old and the battery doesn’t even last 12 hours. Has anyone else experienced this?

Ensure the device is charged!
Settings>About, and scroll down to Factory Reset. You will need to pair it back to your phone.

@MandyP68 How long since you've done a factory reset? I'd be trying this as there isn't much else you can try. As mentioned the latest FW update may be the cause. On a 2 year old device the battery *should* still be reasonably OK with a bit of reduced capacity - but not reduced to 12 hours.

Discovered the reason the battery doesn't last is because the laser stays on, even when you take the fibit off. Tried a factory reset and now nothing. I'll not be buying another one.

I’ve never done a factory reset, how do I do it? I’m happy to try anything so that I can continue using it

Delete the Ionic from the app. On the Ionic go into settings, Bluetooth and under Restore Music Controls, select Pair. On the phone search for a new Bluetooth device..

You should also setup wifi on the Ionic during setup as well if prompted.
There are pairing and setup guides on this site as well.
