Hi -
Has anyone else been affected by a very dim screen? I woke up and the screen is like at 10% brightness. I've changed it to max, etc. I called into fitbit - did reset, and then a factory reset. Still nothing. I am pretty sure that this is not normal. The lady offered me 25% off to buy another Fitbit watch.
Respectfully, that's terrible customer service. I paid close to $300 for this .. and for it to completely have problems so quickly ... that's not right. I think I am probably 3 months out of warranty -- MAX. It would be another thing if I was 2 years out of warranty ... but, this should not be happening so quickly.
I've owned all of the fitbits - but, customer service like this makes me want to go to the apple watch camp. I have an iPhone X as well. So, always used apple for mobile but fitbit for watches. sorry for my soapbox .. but, just doesn't seem right. It's like using the warranty as a shield ... like 'oh, sorry, you are SOL' ... out of warranty. Or at least do something more than 25% ... that's just a normal sale by fitbit ... 50% off ... then, yeah, easily .. would get another one.
It should be tiered -- if within first 6 months after warranty expires - 50% off. Between months 6-12 - 25% off.

@james.derry Welcome to the Fitbit forums! Thanks for taking the time to share the experience you have had with Ionic's screen. Thanks for contacting customer support regarding this situation.
Thank you for sharing the experience you have had with customer support. It's unfortunate to read that he solution provided was not the best for you. I appreciate your feedback regarding the warranty. I will surely pass it along to the right place.
Hope to see you back with Fitbit again. Keep me posted!

I'm experiencing a similar problem. However, mine occurs when the Fitbit Ionic is outdoors. The screen is so dim that I can't read any text messages that come in. The screen didn't start out like that but occurred in the last two weeks (my Ionic is only two months old). I love Fitbit but this shouldn't be happening!

I wish it were that simple. When I called Fitbit - they had me change it to the 'max' setting.
So, it's not the brightness level. it's like very dim - no colors. Black and white. I checked and I bought this originally October 21, 2017. So, basically, 4 months after warranty expired.
I can tell you this much - if it was an Apple product. It would have been covered. No Questions. When my iPhone 6s Plus started acting weird - completely refurbished one or $500 credit to upgrade to new one.

Same problem with my fitbit. Nothing they can do about this problem. Will not by another fitbit product again.

Just found out today; same thing.
I'm four months outside of warranty and paid $300 as well. Terrible. I hope Google improves their customer service.

In settings my ionic is stuck at 10% dim and sleep is stuck too. I’m tossing it and finding a better product.
