Ionic GPS distance accuracy issue

My Ionic’s GPS distance is far off today compared to my previous bike rides with a similar route. The route was plotted correctly but the kilometers traveled is way off. 

 

Here’s a screenshot of both

This one was just today https://photos.app.goo.gl/g9jTTpW2mtNafxZPA and it only logged less than 2kms.


Is there a way to fix it?
