Hi, when I go to do an activity, run or ride, the GPS continually searches. This happens on clear sunny days away from buildings. I have closed and re-started my iPhone and the fitbit app. I have been through the troubleshooting. The only thing that I can't do with troubleshooting (as copied below) is that Fitbit does not come up in the list under 'Location Services' in my Privacy Settings. Any Advice please?
Confirm that your phone can identify your location:

@RobRideRun Welcome to the Community. Thanks for letting me know that your Ionic is continuously searching for GPS.
I appreciate the troubleshooting tried. In regards to the location services, it's advised for someone who use connected GPS, however Fitbit Ionic has built-in GPS. Since GPS isn't finding a signal, I've shared your post with our Support team and they will continue assisting you through email.
Regarding the location services, it should be on your phone's settings and under location services you should have allowed it to Fitbit.
I'll be around if you have any additional questions.

Thank you! I used it this morning on a bike ride and it actually connected for first time in ages before I started but it kept dropping off and missed 6km of the ride. Re Location Services, I thought re-loading the App might bring a prompt to allow it but it didn't come up however thanks for clarifying the GPS on the Fitbit should work independently of the phone anyway. Cheers
