I am so disappointed. I called the support number tonight to try to get help with my Fitbit Ionic. My ionic is two months over a year old so the warranty is two months over. The heart rate either does not register or records that my heart rate is 146 or above all of the time. The steps continuously keep adding up until the battery drains. I have tried two factory resets, forgetting the ionic on my phone, turning it on and off, and finally calling support. The person on the phone was very nice but eventually just told me that I am out of luck and that I can get a new device for 40% off. I loved my Ionic-especially for counting laps in the pool but I will not buy another one and I will now let other people know that it is not a good product and that the support will not back up the product. It is sad to me.

This is crazy. Mine just died on me in this morning I searched variety of methods but it is simply would not turn on.
And I had this for a year and 3 months. I got this when it just came out. It appears that there is a trend here.. I guess it is time for me to call the service request but I would probably hear the same thing what everyone heard already.

I had the same experience. 2 months over warranty and because the firmware would not update and the watch shows not data display...I need to buy a new watch. After 4 years as a customer with FitBit, time to move to Garmin. I am expected to buy a new watch because FitBit Firmware cannot load. NOT!
