Had multiple issues with my Ionic from day 1. Won’t turn on, won’t charge, turns off on its own during activities, turns off when buttons are pressed.
Have tried restarting and resyncing multiple times but nothing works. I think I’ve paid for a dud device. Has anyone else had the same or similar issues and what did Fitbit do to help?

Given it's a new device and I'm assuming you have the purchase receipt - Then I'd suggest a factory reset from within the settings - if you can get into the menu? If it was out of warranty I'd be reluctant to suggest a factory reset, as some devices simply die from there.
You may want to also unpair it from the app before a reset and then completely set it up again after the reset.
