Ionic Music Upload Trouble/Fitbit App Freezing

I'm having serious troubles uploading music to my Ionic watch , and I've tried this several times. I've managed to download one album to my watch to test, but after that, nothing. My watch can play the music, but now that I want to switch it, my app keeps freezing. Time and time again. Here's what I do:

I go on my watch to the music app and click Transfer Music, so the watch is already waiting. It says "Ready to Transfer."

Then I go to the Fitbit app, click the Profile (?) icon in the top-right corner of the app.icon.png

Then I click on Ionic under "View Your Profile and Privacy."

On the right, I click on Media.

When the Media screen comes up, I click "Personal Music" and the app searches for my watch (the dialog box pops up and then disappears). After that, I get the below screenshot: a fuzzy image of my app that never changes. Behind it, I can see the little circle in the "Playlists" column chasing itself, and then nothing else. It used to be able to find all my playlists (which were in the hundreds), but I've changed my media directories, and I only have one playlist now.

The only thing I've changed since is I bought some Bluetooth headphones and have paired them with my watch. So my watch is now paired with my phone, my computer, and my headphones. Other than that, nothing has changed. And I've got only one album on my watch that I can never change. But the snippets of time the app lets me use it before it freezes, I see that the playlist list hasn't changed to the new one-playlist list.

I've even turned off Bluetooth on my computer and then turned it back on, just to reset it.

Does anyone know what's going on?

Gotta say that Fitbit really dropped the ball on this if it takes this much effort to transfer music from one thing to another. Something so simple that everyone else got right freezes a simple app up.

Okay, quick update/new post.

It unfroze. Finally got it to some sort of workable state. I've created a playlist with all the stuff I want to put on my watch, and then checked the checkmark circle next to my playlist.Untitled.png

From what I've read, that should start the upload automatically. But when I check back in with my watch (which, btw, has exited transfer mode since I guess it's waited too long for the app to respond), there's nothing new on the watch. Does anyone know how to get over *this* hurdle?

Been trying to transfer music for an hour now. Fitbit, this should not be this complicated. A couple tips: (1) maybe a right-click menu on your app? (2) how about just connecting the watch directly to the computer through the cable and transferring it like a normal copy-and-paste? Sure, it's a hassle to get out the cable, but if it takes me five minutes to transfer it like that and 1 hour plus to transfer it via Bluetooth, clearly Bluetooth isn't saving me any time. Sorry to be a complainer, Fitbit, but your app is a complete mess. Maybe some more testing before it went public?

I respect you guys for fighting so much with the music feature on the Ionic..... I would have forgotten it existed, and moved on until I read a year or ten down the road that they had fixed it 😋
