Ionic Not Mapping Route on Bike

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

My last couple of rides the Ionic has been calculating all my data but the graph doesn't show where I went. It works fine on walks and runs so I'm confused as to why it isn't tracking my route any more. Here is my results from yesterday's ride.Screenshot_20180730-181338.png

Hello @FredFornicola and Welcome!  So your Ionic is NOT mapping your Bike journeys, correct?  You don't say how you are doing this, so let me just throw out some thoughts and you can use the ones that work best:

1.  Exercise App - If you are not using this, you may want to.  Also, Go into the Settings for "BIKE" (See the setting sprocket in the top left corner) and make sure the GPS is turned ON.   While here, you may want to turn "Auto-Pause" off.

2.  GPS Satellites - Make sure you are connected, prior to starting your ride.

3.  If you are already doing 1 & 2 above, you may want to perform a RESET.  See  this message for further assitance (https://community.fitbit.com/t5/Ionic/Resetting-Your-Ionic/m-p/2866617#M65080).

Please post back should you need any further assistance and Keep on STEPPING!

Hello,

Thanks for responding.

Everything is set properly and mapping for biking was fine up until about 10 days ago. The GPS has to be on to know how far and fast I was going, right? The same settings are set for biking as are for running (which is mapping just fine) so that's why I'm not sure why it's not mapping.

The mapping shows up on my dashboard but not the appScreenshot (20).png

Hello @GySgt_Seidell.  Good call on putting Auto Pause on OFF. Somehow it got changed but now it's mapping fine. Thanks

Same problem. Can Fitbit give a solution?

Same problem here.  My Ionic logged 1.12 miles of an 5.23 bike ride.
