Ionic Not Receiving Notifications After Android 9 Update

Since I updated to Android v. 9, all Notifications have stopped showing up on my Ionic. I have a Galaxy S9+.

 

It doesn't notify for calls, texts, or other apps. 

 

I've restarted the phone, cleared the Ionic from Bluetooth on phone and reconnected, uninstalled fitbit app and reinstalled it, gave fitbit all permissions (including the notification access). None of these have worked.

@BradShreffler Welcome to the Fitbit family! Thanks for taking the time to share the experience you are currently having with notifications not coming in to Ionic since you update to Android 9. Thanks for trying all of those steps in order to sort this out. 

 

In this case, there are some other steps you can try in order to sort this out. I'd recommend trying to restart your watch and then try setting notifications once again
