Ionic Not Syncing with Moto G5

Hello,

 

Since a fiew weeks, i'm having this problem with my Fitbit Ionic (firmware 27.331.30) and Moto G 5 with Android 8.1.0.

 

My ionic doesn't want to sync with my phone. No update from the stat's and no notifications (calls, messages, mails). On my phone, i keep getting notification: 'Bluetooth context downloaden'.  It just flashes a fiew times and dissapears. Again and again.

I did already a lot of troubleshootings but nothing resolves this issue. With little succes.

When i delete my ionic from my bluetooth devices on my phone, and i re-pair he does connect (stats,..) for one (just one) time.  After that: again nothing.

 

I resetted my phone and fitbit ionic: no changes.

I deleted my fitbit from my fitbit account en added him again no changes.

 

Can someone help me please?  I love my fitbit, but this situation is pretty crappy and frustrating.

@DonDiedie Welcome to the Fitbit forums! Thanks for taking the time to share the experience you are currently having while trying to sync and update data. Thanks for trying those steps in order to sort this out.

 

Currently, I don't see the Moto G5 listed as a compatible device. This could be the reason why you are experiencing this situation.
.
The developer team is aware of the need to add new devices to the list of compatible devices. There are some users who can synchronize with non-compatible devices. If your phone meets the requirement of Minimum Supported OS (Android 5.0 Lollipop), you can try the tips on this helpful article.  
 
Note that we don't guarantee that the synchronization will be successful as we are still testing on this phone model.

Hello,

Thank you for your feedback.
Before a recent update of Fitbit, it worked Well.
Kind of miserable that updates block good working stuff :-(((

The moto g5 is a very common device. Please fix this bug. In the past i was
a real Fitbit ambassador. You can imagine im disappointed...
