Ionic Screen Wake doesn't work

I wear my Ionic on the underside of my wrist - old habits die hard!  I have a hard time making it 'wake up' like it does automatically when I wear it like a normal person, on topside of my wrist.  Any suggestions?.

@big380 Welcome to the Fitbit forums! Thanks for posting your inquiry on this thread regarding Ionic Screen Wake feature.

When you wear your Ionic on the topside of your wrist and try to wake it up; does it work normally?

I'd recommend wearing it on the topside of your wrist for this feature to work properly. If you are wearing it on the underside of your wrist you might have to turn your wrist a bit more for the watch to detect the movement.

Hope this helps. Keep me posted! Smiley Happy

It does work fine when worn on top. Is there a way to always have the
display on like my Surge or does it drain the battery too much?

@big380 Thanks for your reply and for sharing your inquiry on this thread.

Yes, there are some clock faces that will allow you to have the display always on. To mention a couple: "Nothing Special" and "Mionic" are some of them. If you type "always on" at the Fitbit App Gallery you will get others.  Also, yes, this will drain the battery faster.

Fitbit is now considering on making this an option for some devices. Check the Feature Suggestion here and cast a vote for it too!
