It's great to see you around @jvssignman. Thanks for mentioning the mobile device that you're using. I was checking this article that has all the updated supported devices and I found that your LG G6 is listed there.
I would like you to make sure that you have tried this syncing troubleshooting step by step. Also, if you're getting any error message, please let me know.
Thank you for your advice @SunsetRunner, @Drew_Watkinson, @WendyB and @SunsetRunner.
Keep me posted.

Hi @jvssignman. You are right. The LG G6 is not on the list of supported devices. Please understand all that means is Fitbit has not tested that phone yet. It may work. Have you tested it? Hopefully someone who has that phone will respond with their experience.

@SunsetRunner I think this "**ahem**" means that the OP has already found it out empirically 😉

Would it even matter if it’s a compatible device?
Truth be told the Ionic barley works on supported devices.....

Bought first one last night to track cardiac issue, probably caused new one trying to activate it
Update: If I had an Iphone would have gotten Iwatch
Update: Fitbit tech said it will not work
Update: Thank you but their tech told me that it does not work with most phones and down grade to lower model

Hi @Drew_Watkinson. I got this Ionic as soon as they came out. It’s my first and only one. No issues. Please keep in mind that most of the people who come to these forums are here to ask questions or to get help with problems. The majority of the purchasers never visit the forums because they are happy with their devices.

@SunsetRunner I gotta ask does every member of this forum that has the community council logo get a copy of the same script?
I actually heard your help forum comment word for word just earlier this week.
I am impressed you are on your first Ionic and it’s over a year. I am on my 2nd with my mother’s ionic in a dying state for what will be a total of 4 Ionics in a house of 2 people.
As I told the last person to say things only look bad here in these help forums I kindly will point towards r/Fitbit or just look in any ad Fitbit runs on Facebook, the comments can be quite interesting.
I hope you have a long lasting Ionic and do not get stuck paying a rental fee for a out of warranty replacement but I fear that will not be the case. Just like the last user who made the help forum comment to me had their Ionic die a day or two later.
Edit @Whistler888 does this look oddly familiar?

@Drew_Watkinson, I’m sorry if it sounds like a script. We don’t have scripts. But I must say similar questions seem to pop up over and over again so perhaps I get into a rut. I don’t mean to. The Community Council members are all unpaid volunteers just trying to help.
