Hello!

Today my Ionic arrived, and i tried to setup everything but there are a lot of non-working features.

 

For now i can't fix this error :
"Notification service not running. A phone restart is required to re-enable notifications on your tracker." So basically i dont get any notifications to Fitbit!

- I tried to restart my phone 4 times already but its not working.
- Restarted Fitbit 2 times , not working.

- Factory reset Ionic - Not working.

- Unpairing Ionic and then add to Fitbit app - Not working.

- Disabled bluetooth and tried all troubleshooting things but can't fix this!

I checked supported phones, and mine not in the list. To make it work i need to buy a new phone aswell? And what if i buy newest phone, and cant use a $250 smartwatch cause you cant make it work on new phone?

Sorry for my English btw. Too much non-supported phones. 😫

Have you allowed the Fitbit app to run in the background? 

 

Some phones, e.g. from Huawei, very aggressively stall apps running in the background in order to increase battery life.

 

You may need to provide respective permissions to the FitBit app in both battery management and "special access" permission settings.
