Ionic Notifications, Heart Rate, and Music Transfer

Yes I’m kind of annoyed as I have an ionic and it didn’t specify to have a mac or windows laptop on any packaging or advertising in order to add music to my watch. I have an iPhone X and a iPad Air 2 and my MacBook doesn’t work its currently broken.... I don’t need the use of it for work and I’m certainly not going to buy a new MacBook just to transfer some (300 songs) music to my new watch.
This is a really basic way of adding music to another device, I’m better off just using my iPhone so annoyed as it’s a £300 watch and can’t make use of a function had it two days already and I’m thinking of taking it back and wearing my charge 2 again. Even the heart rate on the ionic isn’t that accurate and the strap is useless and seriously cheap and in two days I have redness round my wrist has anyone from Fitbit worn it and seen how fiddly it is also, I started to feel that within a couple of hours of wearing it, I’m seriously unimpressed.
Also the notifications side of it are so slow and delayed there’s not really any point to this feature. All in all I’m seriously disappointed with my purchase, back to Argos I think  🤔

@Rosy89 Welcome to the Fitbit family! Sorry for the delayed response.

Thanks for your feedback, it is truly appreciated. Are you still experiencing the same?

I agree with you, there should be a way to transfer music using your phone (Fitbit App). I was making some research on the Feature Suggestions Board and was able to find this idea which is asking for that. Please vote for the idea and leave a comment too. If you take a look at the idea, it is marked as "Under Consideration", which is awesome, so it is not impossible for this to be available soon. Remember the Ionic is still a new device and updates will continue to happen, so it will get better each time. Future is friendly with Ionic.

Regarding the redness on your skin, please check the Wear and Care Guide for some tips to keep your band dry and clean and your skin healthy.

Regarding heart rate, please perform a restart on your Ionic if you keep experiencing this same. Also, check the placement on your wrist. That is also important to have an accurate heart rate reading. Check this helpful article for more details on this.

Regarding notifications, you might like to troubleshoot for them to work correctly. Please check this helpful article for more details.

Hope this helps. Keep me posted! Smiley Happy
