Ionic Question on Syncing

Started the download for the OS2 update in the morning.  It took over 2 hours but did show as done.  i had the done button on the app and went to the Ionic to check out the new OS.  The Ionic is locked, has a green screen with the Fitbit logo and does not sync with anything.  Solution?????

 

Can I plug the watch directly into the PC and sync with the app on the PC?
