Ionic Reboots within first minute of a run. (GPS, music, run, active)

I've seen some posts about people's Ionics shutting down or not tracking, but I'm having a consistent issue in the first minute of a run, my Ionic shuts down and reboots. I have to stop, re-sync my bluetooth headphones, start music, and then start the run, wait a minute or so for a connection to GPS, then hit go. After this, the Ionic works fine for the rest of the run. This has become a persistent problem. In reviewing the threads I've tried all the following troubleshooting tips, but still experience the issue.

1. Make sure my firmware is up to date.

2. Do a hard reboot before I start my run. (it's a pain to have to go through this every time I want to track an exercise and doesn't seem to resolve the problem).

3. Always wait for a GPS connection before starting my run.

4. Turn off all notifications on the Ionic  before starting music and run. (Again, a pain, since I use the notifications, and turning them on and off seems defeat the purpose of having notifications).

5. Turned off All-Day sync before my run.

More Info:

1. I do not run with my phone (that's why I got the Ionic in the first place).

2. 99% of the time happens when music is playing (bluetooth; have less than 10% of max allotted space filled). I always start the music app first, hit shuffle, then go to the run app to start my run.

3. Always using GPS, again, why I got the Ionic.

4. Running in a suburban setting. No tall / downtown buildings, skyscrapers etc.

Are there any more troubleshooting steps? I've been signing up for some 5ks over the next few months. I would hate to have this happen during a run I pay to be a part of where I want real metrics.

Anyone else seeing the same problem or resolved it?

Also, does anyone know if an Ionic 2 will be coming out? I really do like the GPS, HR monitor, sleep tracking, etc. I'm not willing to replace my current Ionic with the same model and will only invest in an Ionic 2 if I know the above issues are resolved. The only other option I would consider would be Apple Watch since I could leave my phone at home and still make calls, and get texts if needed. FitBit's metrics win out for me, but if I can't resolve this then the metrics are moot.

Thanks!

I appreciate the research done prior to posting. In this case, you may want to manually log the activity, follow the tips mentioned in this article: How do I add, edit, or delete Fitbit data and activities?

Thanks Silvia. No, that wasn't the resolution I was hoping for. While the watch works great without music during a run, phone-free running was the number 1 reason I'd made this purchase. The idea of stopping and restarting coupled with the fact that my run would need to be manually entered (without a heart rate which means that the run doesn't get into Strava automatically with all my data) is too much. Additionally, the constant firmware updates and re-configuration of the tracker controls is equally frustrating. I've been testing out a competitor's tracker this week and it looks like I will be migrating away from FitBit. Step tracking and sleep on the ionic was great but not enough to keep me on board or hanging on for the next Ionic.
