Ionic Stopped Working after Swimming

Hi 

I have been swimming before with the Ionic but 2 days ago, while I was swimming it started to vibrate, when I looked the screen was blank, I assumed it must have gone flat even though I had charged it the night before. The sensor light is not on , I have tried factory reset holding the 3 buttons in and releasing after 12 seconds but there is no response.

Is there anything else I can do?

After 4 ionics in 10 months I gave up! They kept stopping and Help was only good for having another one sent to me which stopped working. The first lasted almost 6 months, the second almost 3 months, the third a week and the fourth less than a week.

I had stopped using the fitbit pay option as it kept freezing and had to keep resetting. 

Because it cost so much I don’t want to throw it away
