I love my Ionic. My only qualm about it was the size on my small wrist, but it is a wonderfully light and comfortable tracker that does everything I want it to. Yes Id buy it again!

right now, i would not buy it again. it is still loaded with a premature fitbit os and you have to deal with too many faults.
what i really like is the looks of that watch. in the internet i thought of it as not appealing but on my wrist it is (for me and that is what counts for me).
in principle there is a lot of potential in this product but it is wasted by stupid software. you will very soon find the limits after you bought it. if you are a "serious" runner for example you wull find out that the watch is unable to save your settings for statistics etc... if you run more than some meters you will most probably loose your gps and ionic is unable to connect again during the run which of course ends up imcomplete. this will make you sick and angry because you will feel as if recording a run via gps should be a basic function.
my ionic even looses 25% of the real steps compared to counted ones on a track.
so for sport the ionic is totally useless. the coach-function is somehow ridiculous.
but two things work perfect with me as long as I wear the watch what I normally can not do due the limitations: heartrate meassurement and sleep recording. my fenix 5s plus can not match with this.
the best fitbits i had: charge 2 and surge (an ugly watch)

So far I find the Ionic does what it claims to do, I would like to see the ability to push the exercise tracking to the background. So yes I would by again.
Now about the Fitbit app, this I find is getting better, but still has some bugs to work out.

No it doesn’t because there is no SpO2 tracking as they promised in the marketing campaign

Absolutely not.
You have to wear it tight to bed to get sleep tracking, but loose to wear it to get heart rate while awake consistently.
The charging cable was an attempt to achieve the Guinness Book of World Records for worst design ever and only works part time. To add insult to injury there is no indicator on the watch to tell you the battery is charging so whether or not it's plugged in is a crap shoot. I have noticed that if you wiggle it while standing on your left foot with your eyes crossed and one hand in the air on a full moon, it will sometimes pop up a full screen battery charging notification that immediately disappears.
The FitBit Blaze was great, after this experience I'm afraid I'm going Apple Watch. I can't trust FitBit.

this question has been asked before...and i replied yes before...............now NO, although my Ionic works well, syncs well, downloads music well, gps seems accurate as does heart rate monitor....but no, because of the recent shoddy treatment by customer support.
You always want your device to work well, and for the most part mine have...............but......a big but................when you need help, maybe a warranty claim, you just dont get that help from fitbit...........so NO, not gonna buy another fitbit device, no matter how good they are, the warranty counts for nothing.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
