My alarms on my Ionic do not always work. It actually seems they don’t alarm more than they do... I have two alarms, one for weekdays (M-F) and one for the weekend (S-S). I have checked them and they are both on. I have removed them and set them back up. Is anyone else seeing this and does anyone have a fix? I rely on them to wake me up for work...

I’m having the same issues. Actually two issues with the first being alarm not going off every time and second issue is alarm only vibrates for a few seconds and them stops without being acknowledged which allows me to sleep through it at times. Very frustrating since Fitbit calls the Ionic a smart watch. A functioning alarm is pretty basic smart watch 101.

I am actually having both issues as well. I don’t recall ever having this issue with my Blaze. I got this for Christmas and am not sure I am sold on it yet as there are several things that seem to be off. I was really excited though, since it is waterproof and can track swimming... I hope Fitbit gets it together and fixes all the bugs.

Same for me. Have deleted the alarms and re-set them up. Still don't go off. Used to work fine, but now don't work at all. Hope there is a fix soon?

I am having the same issue, I too rely on this going off.

I have a weekday alarm that has not gone off two Wednesdays in a row now. Has worked on all other days.

Did you have this problem from the start or did it just start occurring? I encountered this same problem starting after the latest firmware update. Prior to that, the alarms worked flawlessly. I also encountered some weird problems with Fitbit pay after this firmware update. After working with support for several weeks, they had me try a Factory Reset which bricked the whole unit. I'm now waiting on a warranty replacement.

Exact same issue, I have only had the ionic for a couple of weeks, this is one feature I was using daily on my Blaze, I hope a fix comes soon.

I am not sure if this a permanent fix or not but after trying a couple of resets that did not work, I actually turned the watch off from within the settings tab on tracker. One alarm that had been previously set did go off this afternoon as it should have.

I just got my Ionic for Christmas and the issue has been there since so I don’t have any history to compare, however I never had this issue on my Blaze.
I deleted all alarms and reset them. I haven’t had anymore issues for the past few days. Fingers crossed it stays that way.

I have the same issue. Logged under a different thread. I thought it was related to changing clock faces. But perhaps that isn't the problem.
The Alarms do seem to be suddenly a unreliable. As someone else said, I never had this problem with the Blaze.

I've experienced the same problem; it is intermittent and I find occasional relief with power-cycling the watch.

I finally figured out what is happening. If my Ionic is locked, the alarms don't fire.

I was beginning to suspect that but haven't really tested it. But assuming it is the issue that's something Fitbit needs to fix ASAP.

I don't have my Ionic locked and they work fine, you just need to make sure that they are set correctly to AM or PM.
