Is no one else having issues with the band that comes with the ionic. I like the device, I hate the band. It comes with large band attached, and that is what I used day one. Day 2, switched to small band which is what I should have. The band has detached from the face 7 time in 4 waking hours and once while wearing to bed. Finally had to use one side of large band and one of small to keep the small part from detaching. Plus, have very sore finger from having to jam the end piece in multiple times. Who thought this was a good band design? There is no way the two interlocking pieces of the band will ever come apart, but they will sure detach from the face.

Best AnswerFitbit needs to pay you for saving them many returns. I was about to send a second one back until I read your post. Thank you for making it work!

Best AnswerI cleaned the bands, cleaned the watch, etc. The bands still come off. Currently, I am struggling with the fact that the screen is black. I have that on another post.
Best AnswerCheck this out. The band must click for it to be fully installed.
Best AnswerHi, I purchased my Fitbit in December 2019. I am experiencing this issue, even after the device was replaced, not the bands. I used the same bands. I think the bands are the issue.
Best AnswerIt is the Ionic. Not the bands.
Wait until the face completely falls off & is hanging by wires - not cracked. All fitbit will offer is 25% off on another purchase. I have been through 3 bionics in less than 2 years. Now they want me to invest another $150. For a 4th ionic for a total of 4 bionics in less than 2 years This is a faulty product with horrific non existent HUMAN customer service. Makes mo sence. No more fitbits for me! I've heard the same form many other former ionic owners. Buyer beWARE!
Now that Google owns Fitbit, don’t expect the quality to improve. They’ll find a way to produce it at the lowest possible cost. In return, you get to give them your data. I quit using mine. Surveillance capitalism at its worst.
This didn't work for me. I had to switch to a small band!✌️
Best AnswerI tried alot but not working. You are right on the other side its the way you mention. But how do i get this one up is a problem
Best AnswerI had a band that broke/tore. When I tried to put the replacement on it would not click. I tried switching sides, different bands, etc... i finally took a thin metal tool and cleaned both inserts. It clicked immediately after. Simple, but sometimes those are the winning tips.
Thx so much! This was driving me nuts lol
