Ionic band keeps falling

My band keeps popping off. Any little bend at my wrist and that does the trick .I also noticed that it's easy to come off and doesn't click securely in place. Is this a manufacturer issue. I have only had my new watch one day. I'm afraid to take it to work and lose it while running or at the gym.

Hi @Ltoledo1013

The Ionic bands can be quite hard to push in securely. The tips I can offer are to push the end of the band in with quite some force, if the band is correctly secured you should feel/hear a click. Once done, give the band a little tug to ensure it is correctly attached and isn't going to come loose when you are wearing it.

This help article and video guide may assist you furher.

Assuming you mean the connection between the watch and strap, I would agree with this as a first step.

When I first go mine I thought I had it secured it properly, but it cam flying out when I was flaying football with some friends.

Since then, I have realised that a good click on insert and then a little test pull helps make sure the straps in properly.

There's a defect with the watch itself. I tested out the side. It's not the
strap but the watch itself is missing the design to clip. I had to use a
flashlight. It happens.

Hopefully you you will get a replacement that works as expected!

If there is a defect, I would send pictures to Fitbit support

The alternative would be to exchange it where it was purchased. if still in the exchange period.

The quickest would be to send pics through Twitter.

Yep. This is ridiculous. How on earth did Fitbit think a removal band would remain in place when you're exercising and not even vigorously!! My watch isn't tight on my wrist and I simply need to do a push-up or some other bend in my wrist and it pops off.

This is clearly a design fault so replacing my watch for a new one isn't going to help and how do I convince the store it needs replacing if it doesn't look broken????
