Ionic battery draining

I received my Ionic as an early Christmas present from my ex boyfriend last year. It's halfway through April now (4 months later), and it had been working great up until just a couple of weeks ago.

First, the sleep tracker either wouldn't record and sleep, or if it did, it wasn't very accurate. I routinely go to bed and wake up the same times every day, and should be getting 6-7 hours each night.

I put in a support ticket, after exhausting all the different things (reset, power on and off, forcestopping app, uninstall/reinstall app, restart my phone, etc) I did a factory reset.

Here I am, what? Not even a week later... The battery is not having issues holding a charge. I usually put it on the charger for an hour or so before bed, it's always got a full-94% charge before I fall asleep. It was fully charged this evening before I went to bed, it's been 4 and a half hours, I woke up not too long ago, went to check the time, my watch says it has 0%!

I'm so frustrated with this watch! I thought it was the greatest thing ever when I first got it and started using it. Now it just seems to be getting worse each passing day, the fact that it hasn't even been issu for 6 months is ridiculous. Especially when you consider how much these things cost (I see the $280.00 sticker on the box it was packaged in).

What's even more frustrating is my ex didn't keep the receipt, so who knows if I'm even able to get a replacement under warranty or not. I just don't understand how it can go from the greatest present I've ever gotten to nearly garbage in 4 short months.

I don't have any fancy apps on it that would cause it to become faulty. I really don't do a whole lot with it except track my stats. Why is this happening? What do I do now? Is it just a 300 dollar paperweight now?

It's been charging for nearly an hour now and it's only got 35%. Why did it die after 4 hours by of sleeping? Why is it so slow to charge now? Why me?

Fitbit, people pay good money for these watches... What's the deal?
