I'm with Tempest on this one. This just started for me about a week ago. The OS2 fixes do not seem to work. Few days ago I had a problem connecting my Ionic back to my phone after a phone reset. I'm on version 27.32.10.15. Now it dies after 2 days. I've never really used it for anything other than bpm and steps. Could the third party watch faces be the culprit as that seems to be the only thing anybody changes. I've deleted app, and data, factory reset Ionic. Will post in the morning with my findings.

I was getting 4 days out of my previous Ionic... It was replaced because of GPS issues..
The replacement is averaging 5-6 days, wearing 24/7 some Workouts, the occasional GPS and charging from 24% on the PC USB charger tp 99% most times.. About 90 minutes to charge..
Ok, unpaired from phone (pixel 2 xl) deleted app, factory reset phone, shutdown, then used button combo to reboot. Repaired to phone and changed watchface to a stock fitbit watch face. It's now 1450 and my fitbit ionic is showing 82%. Was 87% when I woke up this morning. So it lost more charge overnight than it has all day today. Only thing I did after factory reset was reconnect wifi. Everything else is still stock, no extra apps. Maybe the 3rd party watch faces are the battery bandits.

I use the Fitbit watch face "Ace" and on my previous Ionic I used Nautical. No battery issues.

Fitbit.. Analog.
The Ace shows my HR, steps etc when I tap on the face, also the date at the top.

Best Answeri am using all out of the box apps and faces.
my only solution so far is i charge the ionic 2x in a 24hr period.
Best AnswerI have the Iconic and am having severe battery issues as well. I used to get 4 days out of it. After the recent firmware update I'm lucky to get 6 hours. I have GPS turned off and have restarted it multiple times. I really like using the sleep features but now the watch will die during sleep even if it was 100% charged when i went to bed. This has rendered my Ionic useless. Very frustrating.

i completely agree with you! sleep function is awesome but the battery life makes it useless!!!!
wonder if they will replace this device!
anyone from fitbit support reading this?!
Ok so here's my results, I'm finally fed up with this thing. $300 and I can't get it to keep a charge more than 2 days. After 2 days no matter what it says the battery lvl is, the watch dies within hours. When I put it on the charger, it will no longer pair to my pixel 2 xl. So I have to unpair the watch and start the setup process all over again. My only question at this point is how do you request a refund.?
Just a thought. Has anybody else switched to the metal band with the magnetic clasp? This may just be coincidence, but i think my problems started not long after I changed bands. But then again. The OS2 update was about the same time.
Best AnswerI would definatly recommend anybody experiencing problems with your battery to contact Fitbit support. Most likely your battery is defective and they will replace it with a new one.
