Ionic battery not lasting

My ionic battery does not last, two days max, seems to nosedive very quickly. This will be my last Fitbit!

I see where your disappointment is coming from. I'd like you to confirm that your Ionic is being fully charged, after this follow these tips to extend your Ionic's battery life.

A couple of years ago my Ionic started doing that; I did a hard reset and the problem has not reappeared.  I'm thinking I somehow managed to get one of the apps stuck in a loop or something and that was burning down the battery.

 

The above said, if you operate in GPS mode for many hours per day, then a two-day battery life is pretty good.
