my ionic abruptly died today after only 4 months. Black screen, no way to reset. Can anybody help? Was my Xmas gift...

The restart (press and hold the back and bottom buttons until you see the Fitbit logo on the screen) is the only real tool we have to fix issues so if this is not working then it's probably best to contact customer support. If they can't fix it then they can check your warranty status and advise on your options. You can get them via: contact.fitbit.com

Same here, got mine in January and just stopped working. Contact them via live chat or phone, will replace it if since you have only had it for 4 months. Sounds like this is a much bigger issue though as this is being reported everywhere by a significantly large number of Ionic owners. Obvious and significant flaw in design and/or construction of this device.

Same here... Bricked. Unfortunately for me I'm just out of warranty, so tech support told me I'm sol. Kinda bummed because I really liked my ionic, but not sure I want to spend more money on a product that may not last more than a year
