On Thursday my ionic started glitching (flashing notifications)...then went dead after about five minutes (it had been charged overnight so it should've had juice for dayssss)! I put the watch on the charger and after an hour, the screen STILL said 0%. I went into the forum for trouble shooting advice and tried resetting the device (didn’t help) and then I did the factory reset. After the factory reset, my screen on my ionic goes completely black and doesn’t even light up when I plug the charger in. Smh!!!!
I called customer service but I’m out of warranty so I was told that the most I can get is 25% off a new watch. I’m pissed! I take very good care of my belongings and I’m upset to know that this has happened to more than one individual! I’ve been a loyal customer to fitbit and I’ve even persuaded my fellow colleagues to join the fitbit family.
Fitbit needs to fix the glitch/bug or disregard that warranty bull crap! It’s obviously the company’s fault and not it’s loyal users.
PSA: if you haven’t upgraded your software, DONT do it! Especially if you’re out of warranty.
