Ionic black screen

Hi, don't know if anyone is able to help, my Ionic has got a black screen, it charges, syncs and green light on the rear illuminates when I pick the watch up. I have tried resetting ect but no luck. Can anyone assist fitbit have offered 20% discount on a new watch, cheaper to buy one from Amazon, however I did expect the watch to last longer than it did. Very frustrating to say the least.

Think it's a well established problem, fitbit will provide zero assistance.

I have the same problem. In my case, it's an Ionic, I did the update last week (I should have thought about obsolescence) and after that HR stop working, then the screen start having difficulties, then it shut even with full battery. Nothing is responding, nor charging, nor synching. And no help from anywhere to repair or fix it. I'm thinking about Garmin really.

Support from Fitbit really poor, my Ionic packed in after last night
update, we have 5 fitbit watches in our family, but I will never purchase
another fitbit again, Ionic is not a cheap watch and iam very dissatisfied
with the fitbit service. Some Internet research highlights that this is a
common problem which fitbit seem unwilling to acknowledge. Good luck but I
don't hold out much luck for assistance from fitbit.
