Ionic calorie count excessively high for steps

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

For the past couple of weeks - since I did the last upgrade - my Ionic has been calculating burned calories excessively high, particularly for the number of steps I've completed (and on days where steps are low and cardio output is low). As an example, today has been an indoor at desk day and I've barely hit 3,000 steps so far, but calorie count is showing as 4,000+ - which is ridiculous.

My BPM has show as high at times (which I know I'm not in cardio or fat-burning mode) and I know from recent checkup my vitals like BP are perfect.

Similar issues have occurred on other days.

Calling support I've been asked to reset a number of factors, and nothing has changed. Per previous, this never happened before the latest software update.

Seeking any help/advice, please, before I throw this thing away and try some other product.
