I've been using the OnePlus 6 for quite a while now and never had problem syncing my Ionic to it. Until yesterday when my device got updated to Android Pie. I started seeing the "Restart Bluetooth" messages that used to appear on my OnePlus 2 and no matter what I do, the watch just doesn't connect to the device. I've tried a hard reset of the watch, uninstalled the app and then installed again but nothing helps. Is Fitbit ever going to include OnePlus devices to its compatible devices list? This is so frustrating .
Moderator edit: subject updated for clarity
Oneplus is now in the top 5 premium smartphone brands... and Fitbit still refuse to make its products compatible. The Fitbit "team" does, we are told, "routinely test new devices to ensure full compatibility with Fitbit devices" but it has not got around to OnePlus phones over the last 6 years... This is literally unbelievable both in its neglect of loyal Fitbit customers and its complete neglect of good business sense.

Hello @Weds.Child, thank you for sharing this information , as you've mentioned earlier, the compatibility with OnePlus models is limited at the moment, only the OnePlus 6 and OnePlus One are compatible (this depends on both Fitbit and the phone manufacturer).
Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback and experience with this, comments from users are always useful to continue to improving the quality of products and services. Unfortunately at the moment we haven't received new information regarding the compatibility of new devices, but I'm aware the team of the developers is constantly working to include more devices as soon as possible and provide a better experience for more users.
Let me know if you have further questions.

Hello @nuhcakoh, it's good to see you around in the Community forums. Thank you for sharing this information about your Ionic that is not syncing. I've confirmed the OnePlus 6 is a compatible device and should sync with the Fitbit app.
Before considering other options, could you please confirm if you already tried all the steps listed here to resolve syncing problems? This has been useful to other users who were experiencing something similar.
Please keep me posted.
