I've tried to reset several times and placed on charger with no luck. It was charged to 90 percent and I notice it hadn't synced with my phone for a couple days. I did a phone restart and it synced. A moment later, my ionic went black.

Common behavior of ionic out of warranty, which is called by "programmable obsolescence".
