Ionic corrupted display

My fitbit started to only display symbols n lines no data.

When I go to exercise I see the fitness symbols and the dividing lines.

 

Or in the settings I see the dividing lines with no words.

 

How can this be resolved. I've tried to reset several times

The display did not update. I've tried this several times.

I've also tried to reset the device.
